Gaba Technologies LLC ("GABA," "we," "us," or "our") is a company organized under the laws of the State of Georgia. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the GABA mobile application and related services.
We believe in transparency. This policy is written in plain English so you can actually understand it.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account and use GABA, we may collect the following information:
- Account information: your email address and display name
- Profile details: your age
- Performance data: anxiety and fear ratings you provide, task completions, and your progress through the training program
- Device and technical information: your timezone, device type, operating system, and app version
- Subscription information: details related to your subscription plan and billing status (processed through RevenueCat)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide and personalize your training experience
- Track your progress and surface relevant tasks
- Manage your account and subscription
- Improve the app based on aggregate usage patterns
- Send important service communications (such as changes to this policy)
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud infrastructure platform. All data is encrypted at rest on Supabase's servers and encrypted in transit using TLS when transmitted between your device and our servers.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
4. Third Party Services
We work with a limited number of third party providers to operate GABA:
- RevenueCat: manages subscription billing and entitlements. RevenueCat receives only the data necessary to process your subscription (such as your user ID and purchase information). RevenueCat's handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Analytics: we may use analytics tools to understand how the app is used in aggregate. Any analytics data is anonymized or aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.
5. We Never Sell Your Data
Your personal data is never sold to third parties. Period. We only share information with the third party services listed above, and only to the extent required for them to provide their services (such as processing your subscription through RevenueCat).
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information in your account
- Delete your account and all associated personal data

7. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from within the GABA app. When you delete your account, all of your personal data (including your profile, task history, ratings, and progress) will be permanently removed from our systems. This action is irreversible.
8. Age Restriction
GABA is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and associated data. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9. Cookies
The GABA website uses minimal or no cookies. The mobile application does not use cookies. Any essential cookies on the website (if present) are used solely for basic site functionality and do not track you across other websites.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via email before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this page periodically. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy indicates when it was last revised.
